About The Capsule

One Fall day in 2007, while balancing on the side of a pickup truck, lifting 50 lb bags of corn overhead, filling feeders, an idea was born. While watching a pack of wild hogs slam into the legs of an old tripod feeder, spilling expensive corn, the idea turned into a mission. Precious time wasted repairing timers and replacing motors from the ravages of raccoons, other varmints and mother nature, turned the mission into a passion.

Now, climbing ladders seems crazy. Building fences around feeders to protect them from hogs is a total waste of money and time, and trying to outsmart a family of raccoons without the Capsule is impossible!

If simple solutions are the best, the Capsule feeder is the greatest invention in wildlife feeding technology.

  • The Capsule feeder rests firmly on the ground. It's safe.
  • The Capsule feeder is virtually indestructible. It saves you time.
  • ZERO feed is wasted with a Capsule feeder. It save you money.

You now have a choice: you can spend your money on a cheap feeder, climb ladders, waste feed, and try to outsmart varmints OR you can invest in a quality feeding solution and spend your time and money doing other things.

We're a family owned company in South Texas. We answer the phone when you call. We love talking to our customers about their feeder needs. Give us a call.

Customize Your Capsule

250 lb Tire Feeder

  • Holds 250 lbs of feed. Includes heavy duty motor, auger, spinner plate, solar charger, and varmint guard.
  • Capsule Feeders assemble in minutes using seven Phillips-head bolts. The unit is 30 inches in diameter and weighs about 130 lbs when empty. Two units (assembled) can fit in the back of a standard pickup truck.
  • A 22.5-24.5 inch tire provides a tough, immovable base. Rebar or "T" posts can be driven around the tire to secure it in place.
  • Typically used as a broadcast feeder with corn or fish food.Corn and pellets and milo may be combined if desired. Capsule feeders are designed to "completely empty", using a first-in first-out feed cycle.
  • All Capsule feeders come with a 20 Year Limited Warranty.

500 lb Standard Feeder

  • Holds 500 lbs of feed. Includes heavy duty motor, auger, spinner plate, solar charger, and varmint guard.
  • Capsule Feeders assemble in minutes using seven Phillips-head bolts. The unit is almost four foot in diameter and weighs about 100 lbs when empty. Two units (assembled) can fit in the back of a standard pickup truck.
  • Typically used as a broadcast feeder for corn or fish food, the spinner can be removed for use with protein or pellet trays. Corn and pellets and milo may be combined if desired. Capsule feeders are designed to "completely empty", using a first-in first-out feed cycle.
  • Heavy duty molded-in handles make moving it a breeze. A short rebar or "T" post can be driven through the handle for added security although rarely required.
  • All Capsule feeders come with a 20 Year Limited Warranty.

500 lb Feeder w/ Small Tray Kit

  • Has all of the features of the standard 500 lb unit
  • The small tray kit can be sold separately for customers that already have 500 lb Capsule feeders.
  • The small tray kit is typically used to feed pellets. Made of 3/8" tough, high density polyethylene, the tray cannot be chewed up by animals. It will not rust or corrode. The tray comes with a durable skirt to deflect feed into the tray. Most users remove the spinner plate so feed flows gently into the tray. Perforated to allow water to drain, the tray holds about 20 lbs of feed or corn.
  • The small tray attaches quickly and securely to the standard feeder using existing assembly bolts. When installed, the tray is about 33 inches off the ground, 27 inches in diameter and four inches deep.

1000 lb Feeder

  • Holds 1,000 lbs of feed. Includes heavy duty motor, long auger, spinner plate, solar charger, and varmint guard.
  • Capsule Feeders assemble in minutes using eleven Phillips-head bolts. The unit is almost four foot in diameter and weighs about 150 lbs when empty. Two units (assembled) can fit in the back of a standard pickup truck.
  • Typically used as a pellet feeder for protein or fish food, the spinner can be removed for use with large or small trays.

1000 lb Feeder w/ Large Tray Kit

  • Has all of the features of the standard 1,000 lb unit
  • The large tray kit can be purchased separately for customers that already have 1,000 lb Capsule feeders.
  • Designed to use with both the 500 lb and 1,000 lb feeders. Four trays are securely fastened to the cone using eight large phillips bolts. The bolts screw into heavy duty brass lugs that are molded into every capsule feeder. A skirt is attached to deflect the feed into the tray. When the spinner plate is removed, feed flows gently into the trays.
  • The large tray kit is molded of thick high-density polyethylene plastic. Perforated for drainage, the trays will not rust or corrode.
  • When installed on the 1,000 lb feeder, the tray is about 33 inches off the ground. When used with the 500 lb feeder, the trays are about 20 inches off the ground. The large tray kit holds approximately 40 lbs of feed.

Directional Plate

Made of stainless steel, the directional plate is designed to control the broadcast direction. Whether you're feeding fish from the bank or wish to hide your feeder from the road or sendero, the directional plate is a handy accessory. It attaches easily to the power head of the Capsule feeder using Phillips screws.

Expansion Ring Kit

If you've already purchased a 500 lb Capsule but want to expand it to a 1,000 lb feeder; no problem. Our expansion ring kit consists of a 12" tall section that simply bolts between the feeder and the base and a longer auger. You can quickly and easily convert your Capsule feeder to feed a variety of feeds to a variety of animals.

Traditional Feeder Problems

The Piñata Feeder

Chances are you don't even know how much feed you're wasting. With a typical gravity feeder, animals learn that they can access feed by shaking or banging on the feeder. The more damage they cause, the more feed (more reward) they get. The result: wasted feed and damaged equipment. Duct tape and baling wire can treat the symptom but will not solve the problem. Poor design costs you money in repairs.

With a Capsule, animals quickly learn they're expending energy and getting nothing in return. They will show up only at programmed feed times. You'll see game you've never seen before.

Risky Business

It's steadier than a ladder, but not safer. You're not as young as you were last year. A broken leg, blown disc or torn knee can ruin your season and make that bargain feeder expensive. Crank-up feeders are dangerous. 300 lbs of feed can cause damage to you or your feeder when it crashes down. Poor design increases liability, risking injury to you or others.

A Capsule feeder fills from the ground. Almost ANYONE can quickly and easily fill the feeder. A 500 lb capacity means fewer trips to fill, less gas money spent and reduced risk of injury.

Dinner's On You

With most feeders, it's a 24-hour drive-thru. Gravity is NOT your friend. Feed left on the feeder is an invitation to varmints and hogs to shake, rattle and roll your feeder.

The Capsule's patented design employs an auger to raise and disperse feed. In short, if the motor is not turning, ABSOLUTELY NO FEED can come out, period.

The Pushover

It really wasn't that hard. It started with a nudge. Then a bump. Before long, the whole thing's on the ground. You filled it a month ago. Deer season starts next weekend. No telling how long it's been this way. Why risk your season?

The Capsule features a low center of gravity. It simply can't be pushed over. Your trips to check your feeders become predictable and less expensive.

Teamwork

Why bother setting your timer? Varmints are smart and efficient. Their life depends on it. No matter how much time and money you spend to defeat them, they'll win. They have gravity on their side. They show up well past dark. You never see them. The question is: are you feeding that trophy you've been chasing after hours too?

The ONLY way to manage your game is to feed at specified times. Times that YOU choose. With a Capsule feeder you can depend on your game being conditioned to show up at times YOU choose. They simply cannot access feed any other way.

Testimonials

"I wanted to drop you a note regarding my latest Capsule Feeder. I placed it in the back of my Suburban and headed to our ranch. Once down there, I quickly assembled it in the field, including the new protein feed adaptor, and had it loaded and feeding in no time!

My original Capsule has been in use since July of '08 without a single problem! In case there are still skeptics, tell them this: I put 400 lbs. in my original Capsule back in October ?09. It fed twice a day (4 lbs. per day), without a hitch.

I checked it this past weekend, 2/6/10, to find it finally empty (the corn lasts much longer since every coon and hog isn't stealing it!). It had thrown all but a very small handful of corn out! Thanks for making a great new product that even a "mechanically challenged" guy like me can easily transport and quickly put together!" - Mark B. Hickey, Medina County, TX

"The Capsule Feeder is without a doubt the best invention in the wildlife feeding industry in years. Growing up in Dimmit County provided many years of hunting and feeding wildlife.

I cannot begin to guess at the number of tons of corn I have cranked up in tripod barrel feeders and schlepped up the tiny steps of crank-less feeder. The Capsule is simple, SAFE and 3 decades late, but thanks heavens it is here today!

One of my expensive crank tripod feeders fell to the ground last week while I was winching it up.repair cost is over $350 and I am lucky my son or I was not injured. This will never happen with the Capsule!

I put my first Capsule in a location that was not well thought out. Moving the feeder, full of corn I must add, was the easiest task I have had at the ranch this year.simply tied a tow strap to the handles of the Capsule and drug it with my Suburban to a better location. They are so rugged & durable that the wind, cows and hogs cannot push them over and raccoons cannot feed all night as they do on my other tripod feeders. My feed bill has been cut in half!

If the capsule system can work for NASA, why not let it work for you and your wildlife!!" - Carter Speer, Carrizo Springs, TX

"Hey guys! Congratulations on a great product. The Capsule Feeder has to be the most innovative feeder I have ever seen. You guys will absolutely turn the feeder market on its head with this new design.

I love the fact that I don't have to climb any more rickety ladders carrying 50 pound bags of corn. There are cows, hogs, and raccoons on my place and the Capsule Feeder has defeated them at every turn. I am no longer loosing precious feed from my feeders thanks to the Capsule. I have three of these beauties and will definitely be getting more for my hunting property. Good job guys!!" - Shane Steele, Elusive Wildlife Outdoors, Houston, TX

"I was filling a feeder in Big Lake when the winch cable came loose and started to drop, luckily we noticed it and were able to move out of the way in time before it crashed to the ground. Another time, I was filling a feeder in Coleman using a ladder leaned up on a standard tripod feeder when one of the legs began to twist - I was able to jump off and out of the way right before the 300 lbs of corn and feeder came crashing down. Another time, my friend was filling a feeder alone, the built-in ladder gave way and the whole thing came down on top of him - miraculously he escaped with only a few bruises.

Each one of these incidents could have proven fatal or life-changing. Obviously this safety hazard cannot happen with the ground-based feeder you have designed. I highly recommend the Capsule Feeder for the safety factor alone. One visit to the ER will more than pay for the extra cost of this safe feeding system. Besides the safety aspect, it is a quality designed and manufactured item that works great!" - Scott Ragsdill

"I bought my first Capsule Feeder in September of 2008 -- and have since bought three more! They are great! Especially like how easy they are to fill and maintain. Have had no problems with them and would recommend them to anyone who loves the outdoors. Keep up the good work!" - Larry Biedenharn, Boerne, TX
